Regardless of the temperature outside, Nickelodeon Universe has what families need!
Coming from Orlando, I am always in search of killer theme parks and adventures for not only myself but my family! Living now in Minnesota, the one thing I had to get used to is the fact that theme parks are not open year-round as the temperatures drop unbearably low! Luckily for my family, we have the Mall of America right down the road for shopping, fun, and a ton of entertainment including Nickelodeon Universe.
Nickelodeon Universe is an indoor theme park that is showcased in the middle of the Mall of America. This family-friendly theme park showcases 27 rides and attractions, shopping, food, and guest character appearances from Nickelodeon television series such as Sponge Bob, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Dora the Explorer!
Let me share with you my top 3 reasons why every family should come check out Nickelodeon Universe the next time they are in Minnesota!
Number 1: Open practically year-round!
Since this theme park is located inside the mall, the park is open almost year-round (minus some holidays). Regardless of whether it’s storming outside in the summer, or way below freezing in the winter here in Minnesota, Nickelodeon Universe is climate controlled and under a dome!
Number 2: The Park Has Something For Everyone In Your Family!
Most theme parks have things for older kids and adults, but when it comes to small kids they lack things to do! This is NOT the case here at Nickelodeon Universe! This massive theme park has something for adults such as Spongebob Squarepants Rock Bottom Plunge (my personal favorite) all the way to Paw Patrol Adventure Bay which is great for children of any age! The entire family can come and spend the day together and enjoy fun activities all day long!
Number 3: You Do Not NEED To Spend Money To Come, But Passes Are Affordable!
Regardless if your looking for all-day fun for the family, or just have an hour to kill at the Mall of America, Nickelodeon Universe has options for everyone! First off, you do not need to spend money to get into Nickelodeon Universe! Unlike many other theme parks, this is a pay-to-ride park which means you can come to check things out before you spend any money at all! If you have a little bit of time to kill, you can actually pay per ride which is a nice thing for some fun without killing the bank! Also, if you’re looking for all-day (or year) fun, they offer daily unlimited ride wristbands and annual passes so you can have fun all day or year!
Overall, my family and I love spending time at Nickelodeon Universe! It’s a great place for some family fun in a controlled environment where we can just let loose and make memories together as a family!
