AXEL By Cirque Du Soleil Is The Hottest Show On Ice!

AXEL by Cirque Du Soleil is the hottest show to take over the ice!

AXEL Cirque du Soleil

I had the chance to get a backstage look at AXEL, Cirque du Soleil’s 48th original creation. This show follows Axel, a young man who has a passion for music and drawing. Through the show, we follow Axel as he finds, and falls in love, with Lei. Before the show began, I got a chance to take a peek inside at rehearsal and what it really takes to bring a touring show from Cirque du Soleil to life! If you have ever wanted to see what it takes to bring one of these amazing shows to life, then check out my video below!

Now on to the show. AXEL features 41 artists combining music, puppeteering, acrobatics, and yes ice skating. The show combines ice skating, amazing special effects such as fire and projection imaging, world-renowned physical feats and honestly one of the best soundtracks that I have ever heard from a Cirque production.

AXEL Cirque du Soleil

From the time the show started until the end, I was captivated with the high energy show which includes live music and one of the cutest puppet dogs I have seen!! I have now seen around 14 Cirque du Soleil productions and I can say that this one is my new favorite by far! The combination of the storyline, special effects, and music had me hoping for more!! If you get a chance to see AXEL, then I suggest you get tickets as soon as possible!

Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you – it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart and on your body. You take something with you… Hopefully, you leave something good behind.
