I was hosted by Busch Gardens over Christmas break and invited to experience the Serengeti Safari again. I say again because growing up and living in Orlando for about 15 years, this was something I had done before. But this time felt completely different. This time, it hit deeper.

The Serengeti Safari is not a slow ride past animals from behind glass. You are standing in the back of a moving safari-style pickup truck, rolling through the open savannah. No barriers. No cages. Just wide-open space and animals doing their thing.
You get incredibly close to giraffes, zebras, antelope, ostriches, and more. Close enough to hear them breathe. Close enough to lock eyes. And yes, close enough to feed giraffes by hand and grab photos that feel unreal.
