LUZIA by Cirque du Soleil arrived in Orlando last week for a 7-week run, and we got a chance to take a look backstage at what it takes to bring this amazing show from city to city! We also had a chance to attend opening night and I wanted to share what we thought of the show before our big announcement!
Orlando is no stranger to the Cirque du Soleil Brand, however, with La Nouba closed while they imagine a new Disney Brand show the company brought a tented show for the first time ever to the City Beautiful. If you haven’t experienced a tented show, you are missing out! The shows in the tent really take you back in time while giving you a romantic and intimate feeling to bring you closer to the action!
LUZIA, A Waking Dream of Mexico takes you on a visual journey of wonder, beauty, and action! I have personally seen over 15 Cirque du Soleil shows and I can say that LUZIA has been my favorite by far. I saw the show a year ago in California and was excited to see the show again when I found out they were coming to Orlando. I can personally say that you will not leave the show unhappy!!
LUZIA has a ton of action from jugglers, aerialists, dancers, contortionists, and more! This show combines the beauty of the country of Mexico with amazing music, colors, and cultural references! The show even has a ton of water effects that most cannot believe would be apart of a traveling show!!! The show is a must see for sure!
