Is the Hype for Hamilton Alive in Seattle?

Hamilton in Seattle
Is Hamilton really worth the Hype?

Last week, I went to Seattle for an Alaskan Cruise. As you know, I am a huge fan of Broadway! When I travel to a new city, I check to see what shows are playing when I am there! To my surprise, Hamilton was playing in Seattle. Hamilton, which is the biggest thing to hit Broadway in a long time, was going to be playing two shows on the night I was there. Thanks to the Disney + edition, I feel like tickets have been a bit easier to score. Well, I grabbed a ticket for myself and my wife who has not seen Hamilton before and I wanted to share my experiences.

First off, Hamilton is a movement, not just a Broadway show. The following is somewhat like a cult and let me be the first to say, I may be the president! I have seen the show a total now of 4 times and my love for the music, the acting, and how each time each character adapts their role to make it their own!

The show was amazing in Seattle from the top to the bottom. I am always a fan of the OG cast, however, the cast that played in Seattle was on top of it! The acting and musical talents were phenomenal and really drove home the story of the show! My wife was left speechless for the performance and after it was done, she stated that she may have found a new show at the top of her list (sorry Come From Away!)

I do want to say one more thing before I go. Broadway’s new thing is showcasing its talents on platforms such as movies and Disney Plus. While I am a huge fan of being able to sit down at home and be in the Room Where It Happened, there is something that lIve theater has that cannot be replicated. There is nothing like live musical theater and what it does to all of your senses! If you can, get up and get out to see Hamilton in Seattle while you can!
