Disney’s Family Magic Tour – A scavenger hunt through Magic Kingdom. Your guide has an amazing map filled with riddles & clues leading you around Magic Kingdom. Be sure to bring a camera because you never know what magic might happen along the way or who may stop to help you! I took this tour a few years ago. My daughter enjoyed helping Pater Pan & Tink save Magic Kingdom from Hook! The storylines & characters vary. It is best for kids ages 4-10 & lasts around 2 hours. This tour is $34 per person.
Walt Disney: Marceline to Magic Kingdom- An informative tour to learn about Walt Disney & the design of several classic attractions. This is less in-depth than the Keys to the Kingdom tour below. You will have the opportunity to enter Magic Kingdom before it opens to the public for some great photos. This tour is open to kids ages 12 & up. It is offered Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays at 8:15am & lasts 3 hours. The tour is $30 per person.
Disney’s Keys to the Kingdom Tour – An in-depth walking tour of Magic Kingdom including backstage areas. You will learn about Walt Disney’s vision for the park, secrets of some classic attractions, see the parade float storage areas, &, yes, go behind those utilidors! At the end you will receive an exclusive keepsake. The guide wears a microphone & you are given a headset, which I really enjoyed because even those in the back of the group can still hear everything. Lunch at Columbia Harbour House is included with the tour. You make your lunch selections upon tour check-in. No photos are allowed. The tour is offered daily at 8:30am, 9:00am, & 9:30 am. It lasts about 5 hours & is $79 per person.
Disney’s The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour – An informative tour all about Walt Disney’s love of steam trains. You will have the opportunity to take a ride, go backstage to the roundhouse to learn how the trains are stored & serviced, & watch as the engineers get ready for the day. This tour begins at 7:30am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday & lasts about 3 hours. You may have to use alternate means of travel since this tour may begin before the transportation services. Ask your Resort Concierge if you have any questions. If you are driving, you may park at the Contemporary Resort & walk to Magic Kingdom. Be sure to have your confirmation number to give to security when you park. This tour is open to children ages 10 & up. It is $54 per person.
