Titanic Gala Dinner

Is the Titanic Gala Dinner Event the best dinner show in Orlando? Let’s dive into the event and see!

Titanic Gala Dinner

Titanic the artifact exhibit has been in Orlando for a while and many have checked out their rare artifacts and replicas from the Titanic, but did you know that they have a dinner gala twice a week? I had no clue until I was invited to come to check out the event for myself and I wanted to pass along what I thought of the dinner and overall if it stacks up to the other dinner shows in Orlando!

First off, the gala is presented twice a week on Friday and Saturday evenings starting at 6:30 pm and runs until around 9:30 or 10:00. The dinner includes a guided tour of the exhibit, dinner, and a reenactment of what really happened aboard the Titanic on April 14th.

Upon check-in, you take group photos, enjoy snacks, and can purchase their signature drink before the evening begins which is ironically called The Iceberg! During check-in, you are given your identity card so you know which role you play in the story, and what class you are.

Once the event begins, you are transported back in time to set sail on the RMS to be a participant in one of the most famous dinner parties aboard Titanic. Join Margaret “Molly” Brown, and other 1st Class guests as you celebrate the retirement of Titanic’s Legendary Captain, Edward John Smith.

The actors mingle with you during your tour through the different exhibits until its time to go to dinner! We are there to give the captain, Edward John Smith his farewell with some amazing food! Let’s take a look at the menu to see what you will experience for dinner!

The food was amazing for sure, full of flavor and tender. Honestly, there is a certain mindset that the food at a dinner theater in Orlando is subpar, however, this meal blew my expectations out of the water!

After dinner, the feel of the night changes for sure. What started out as a fun adventure turned somber as you learn first hand what happened on that fateful night. The actors do an amazing job of bringing the story to life and showcasing real-life conversations had on that night.

At the end of the night, after the show is over you find out your fate to see if the role you played in the evening survived or not.

At the end of the night, Mandee and I both really took a minute to reflect on our evening and both agreed that it was one of the best put together shows we had seen in Orlando. The dinner show really combined great food, entertainment, and education that was full of emotions. At the end of the show, you could hear a pin drop in the room as everyone was taken back with emotions and reflections of the lives that were lost that night.
