The Office! A Musical Parody in NYC Charms Audiences Off-Broadway!

Office Fans Rejoice! Even if we have to give up hope for an Office reboot, we luckily have a musical parody telling the world’s biggest inside joke! The Office! A Musical Parody tells (and sings) the inside stories and beloved storyline inside Dunder Mifflin, a calm paper company in Scranton, PA.

The storyline for the 2-hour show is more like a highlight of all the fun we Office fans witnessed on our television with some new takes. The show’s storyline is intertwined with some original music that leave you wanting to rewatch the entire series and see the show over and over again!

Part of the charm of this musical is the theater itself. The show takes place in New York’s Jerry Orbach Theater, which gives you an up-close look and feel within the intimate theater space. The show, which in my opinion is brilliantly written pushes so many tales, inside jokes, crude humor, and yes “That’s What She Said” references into a short time.

Another amazing part of this show was just how well the cast not only played their respective roles but also how they interacted with each other throughout the show. I felt like I was watching a bunch of friends hanging out together more than a group of actors in a musical. The quality of acting and singing pushes this Off-Broadway show to the top of my list of shows to see if you are in New York City!
