Brevard Zoo once again will kick off its annual Summer Saturday Nights beginning June 6. Beat the summertime heat and enjoy the Zoo in the evening hours every Saturday in June and July from 5 to 9 p.m. Even more, thanks to local companies sponsoring this annual event, admission starting at 5p.m. each Saturday is just $6. Brevard Zoo members get in for free. Last Zoo admission is at 8 p.m.
Most of the animals are out on exhibit until dusk, but not every animal will be out. The aviary and butterfly exhibit are not open at night. The Zoo showcases live music each Saturday night for guests to enjoy from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and adds a special animal encounters at 7 p.m. The Paws On play lagoon will be open until 8:00 p.m. For an additional charge, guests can go kayaking, ride the train, go paddle boating and feed giraffes. With exciting themes, special food and drinks, and activities planned for each night, there will be fun for everyone! This event will occur rain or shine.

I love the Brevard Zoo, especially the kayaking! If you have never been to the Brevard Zoo for the kayaking then it is a must do for me! Where else can you kayak around giraffes and other animals usually found in Africa without any fences in between you and the animals! This environment makes you feel like you are actually in Africa checking out these animals in their natural habitat. I also enjoyed the train ride, and the kids love the play splash area!
