Summer brings new shows at SeaWorld Orlando! We all know and love Shamu Rocks, however it is long gone now. I know, it hurts me to say it as well. SeaWorld has gone above and beyond to bring us a brand new show called Shamu’s Celebration: Light Up The Night! This high energy show has a great mixture of high energy music, lights, fireworks, and brand new behaviors from the killer whales. The soundtrack for this show is brand new, which I believe is much better than Shamu Rocks. When the old show was here, it was full of classic rock tunes that we all know and love. This new show’s score has music that has never been heard of before and helps put the focus back on the animals and the trainers.
The killer whales jump, flip, dance, and splash to the beat of the music in this amazing show! I have seen a lot of shows at SeaWorld with the killer whales, and for some reason the whales seem to have a great time in the night time shows. I am not sure if it is the music, the lights, that it is the end of the day, or maybe the high energy from the crowds! Regardless, Shamu is going to make a splash with the new night time show at SeaWorld Orlando! Shows will be nightly until the end of summer! Make sure you check it out in one of the SeaWorld parks this summer before they are gone! ‘
After the sneak preview, Jason from Orlando Fun and Food got a chance to interview Kelly Flaherty, who is the head of animal training at SeaWorld Orlando. She talks about the new show, the new behaviors, and just why this show is going to rock! Watch the interview below, and check out some exclusive photos from the final dress rehearsal of this incredible show! Who is excited about the new show!!!
