Disney Parks blog broadcast the dedication ceremony live this morning! In attendance were, of course, all seven dwarfs with Snow White & Tom Staggs (Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Chairman). Mr. Staggs praised the Imagineers and the entire team for a job well done. He stated that this was the final touch for the New Fantasyland project. He also announced that the official opening date will be May 28th!! The dwarfs fashioned a golden pick-axe for the occasion. To officially dedicate the attraction, Dopey & Snow White struck the stone with the golden pick-axe causing fireworks to erupt & lots of cheers from the crowd!
