Normally writing articles comes easy to me. I can sit down at the computer and put together a well thought out review and be satisfied that I have gotten my message across: until today. Through social media, articles, and meet ups I have had the pleasure to meet some of you and call you friends. That is why this is so hard to talk about.
My “day job” is being a firefighter and paramedic which I love! About 10 years ago I sustained an injury on the job that blew out both knees and left me with some substantial back problems. As most of you know when you are injured you stop doing activities as much as you use to. This leads to weight gain and a slippery slope of health problems. I do want to be honest… I have never been a real skinny guy but I have gained a ton of weight and picked up some health problems that have led me to surgeries and a ton of pain.
I made up my mind a few weeks ago that this new me had to go and I needed to make some drastic changes not only for me but for my family. I do not want to be that guy who isnt around for his family due to weight and medical problems. I am telling you this for two reasons!
- Accountability- I feel like I have gotten so close to some of you and feel like you are an extended circle of friends. I will need as much love and support through this as possible!
- I want you to join in- I am hoping that some of you may join this journey with me! As I said above I have chosen It Works! as my platform to start to loose weight and need some of you on my team!
Here is where the fun begins. Like I said before, i have started selling It Works! on my new website, Orlando Fun and Fit!
