A Magical Start to Family Fun in Las Vegas

Las Vegas may be known for its nightlife and casinos, but as I recently discovered, it’s also full of family-friendly surprises that don’t make parents want to run back to the hotel bar. Kicking off my new series on things to do in Las Vegas with kids (that don’t suck for adults), let’s talk about a show that blew both me and my kid away: The Nathan Burton Magic Show.
This high-energy magic show recently moved to a new theater inside Flyover Las Vegas, which is a great location right on the Strip and easy to find. The upgraded venue gives the show a sleek, modern feel while still being incredibly welcoming and accessible for families.
Why It’s Great for Kids and Grown-Ups
From the very first illusion to the jaw-dropping finale, Nathan Burton had us hooked. The show blends classic Vegas-style grand illusions with fast-paced comedy and impressive sleight of hand. It’s not the kind of kid’s show where adults are just counting down the minutes. My kid was on the edge of her seat—and honestly, so was I.

What stood out to me the most was how personable Nathan and his entire cast were. After the show, they stuck around to meet fans, take photos, and chat. That kind of interaction makes a lasting impression on both parents and kids. It wasn’t just a performance—it felt like we were part of something special.
Family-Friendly Without Feeling Watered Down
Let’s be clear—this is a real Vegas magic show, not a toned-down, kiddie version. There were grand illusions, disappearing acts, audience participation, and some seriously impressive stunts. But it’s all clean, fun, and upbeat. You won’t find crude jokes or inappropriate material—just good, old-fashioned entertainment that works for all ages.
Final Thoughts

If you’re planning a family trip to Vegas and want something that entertains the kids without boring you to tears, Nathan Burton Magic Show is the perfect pick. It’s funny, fast, magical, and full of heart.
Whether it’s your first time in Vegas with kids or you’re just looking for a new show to check out, this one should be at the top of your list.
Please also remember, just because this series focuses on kid friendly shows, doesn’t mean that its not amazing and suited for adults too!!! Honestly, i’d see Nathan again, due to how amazing he is at his craft, but also the fact that he has a great showtime for families, kids, and adults who want a great afternoon break!

Pro Tip: Book early and grab seats near the front for the best views of the illusions—and stick around after the show to meet Nathan and his crew. Trust me, it’s worth it.
