The lights are set, the cameras are ready, and the stars have come out in full force for the grand opening of Madame Tussauds Orlando! Yesterday, we got a tour of the newest Orlando attraction located in the I Drive 360 complex on International Drive. This attraction which is set to open on May 4th holds some of the most impressive wax figures that I have ever seen! As you can see from the pictures just how realistic they are! Lets take a look into Tussauds Orlando at what you can expect from this attraction!
First off, lets talk about the pricing and details that you need to know. This attraction is located in the I Drive 360 complex that is located on International Drive. Along with Madame Tussauds Orlando, the complex also holds SEA LIFE Aquarium and The Orlando Eye! Pricing for these attractions are 25 for one attraction, 39 for two and 49 for all three! For just another 50 bucks you can also add on Legoland Florida! More information and hours for the attraction can be found here!
Madame Tussauds Orlando is separated into multiple sections based on the figures and celebrities that are located within them. There are multiple areas from a historical figure section, a sports area with interactive sports games, movie section, and of course a cocktail party area with some of the hottest stars of Hollywood!
Realism is what sets Madame Tussauds Orlando from other wax museums. Here at Tussauds, the stars you are looking at are so detailed that it is like you are looking at the real person. Even when I posted pictures on Instagram from my tour, people would comment about how cool it was that I met them in person! I took my photo with Jim Parsons from Big Bang Theory as well as Walt Disney himself! Bringing Disney to life brought some people’s eyes to tears. I know without Madame Tussauds Orlando, I would never be able to see what Walt Disney would look like if I ever had the privilege to meet him.
Lets also get one thing straight, Madame Tussauds Orlando is not a wax museum. It is a wax attraction that allows you to touch the figures and interact with them like you could never imagine! Ever wanted to play the drums for a pop star or play golf against the likes of Tiger Woods? Madame Tussauds Orlando gives you those rare opportunities! Also, just because there are multiple Madame Tussauds doesn’t mean that they are all the same. Each attraction has figures that are specific to that attraction and area such as Walt Disney here!
I highly recommend checking out Madame Tussauds Orlando along with the other attractions at the I Drive 360 complex! If you do, comment below and let me know what you thought!
