Kick off the Christmas Season starting tomorrow with Light Up UCF!
Back for its eighth season, Light Up UCF “50 Nights of Music, Lights and Ice” provides Central Florida families and residents with an affordable place to celebrate the holidays. Running from November 13 through January 3 outside CFE Arena, Light Up UCF has become a holiday tradition, offering an 8,000 square foot outdoor ice skating rink, rides, and holiday attractions. And back again this year, it will be SNOWING every evening! Get ready for a magical eighth season!
In addition to the fan favorite Ice Rink Pavilion presented by Central Florida Expressway Authority, the Hunter Vision Ferris Wheel, Blizzard ride, the Arctic Glide Ice Slide and Santa’s Workshop presented by Coca-Cola, there are several free opportunities for families including the Holiday Film Festival shown on a giant two-story screen and the Holiday Light Show presented by Orlando Sanford International Airport with thousands of lights choreographed to seasonal musical selections and falling snow!
I checked out a sneak preview for the media yesterday and had everything that Light Up UCF had to offer! We started out the evening by chatting with Santa and getting our photo taken. We then went down the snow slide as well as the ice skating rink. The little one really enjoyed the skating and the mix of modern hits and christmas music!
We also really enjoyed the rides especially the ferris wheel and the train! You can see from the expression on the little one’s face that she really loved riding on a reindeer! We also decided to take a ride around UCF Arena on a horse drawn carriage!
Overall, we really enjoyed Light Up UCF and know that this will be a new family tradition for us! To purchase tickets and to learn more about Light Up UCF visit their website here!
