LEGOLAND Florida Offers Fun and Food for ALL Ages!
Recently I had to opportunity to visit a lesser known theme park in the Orlando area. Legoland Florida can be found just a short drive from the ever popular theme parks of Walt Disney World and SeaWorld. If you are looking for something different and a little less crowded, I highly recommend you check out this place!
Now I’m not a huge fan of legos, and never really played with them as a kid, so I had no idea what to expect when walking in to this park. They not only have a theme park that has rides (of all kinds and for all ages), shows and a waterpark, they also have a resort right next door that you can also stay at.

My absolute favorite part of this park was the miniland section of the park. This is where they have built miniature replicas of cities and major monuments completely out of legos! And to top it all off, they have an entire section dedicated to different planets from the Star Wars franchise! It was awe-inspiring to see how they had managed to build such amazing things out of tiny little legos. So definitely check them out if you get the chance.

I also was able to catch a show while visiting Legoland. I was able to see their wonderful Pirates Cove water ski show. It was a thrilling tale about protecting the cove from pirates all while water skiers dazzled the audience, if you’ve never seen lego people water ski, you are definitely missing out! Watch out- you may get a little wet during this performance!
A few other highlights from the trip would have to be the walk through of the Cypress Gardens area, which is such a beautiful scenic place, and a few of the rides such as Mia’s Riding Adventure, Project X, and for captivating views of the theme park and resort make sure you check out the Island in the Sky.
I definitely had a blast here and I hope you guys do too!!

Even though we have annual passes to both SeaWorld and Universal Studios Orlando, our Son still wants to go to LEGOLAND so badly for His 6th Birthday in September.. I REALLY want to be able to do this for Him, but not really sure I can make it happen? A little background up until 3 years ago, he was our Grandson, but as of November 2015, He became our son when we adopted Him. He was an unexpected Blessing because when My Husband and I turned 50, that was the year that the last of our litter of 5 left the nest. We thought now its our turn. A big reason for this is because I have multiple Sclerosis and have given up on all at that time current treatments as they all made me feel worse than when I started. So we decided quality vs quantity.. Instead life changed drastically for us as 3 months later we found ourselves raising a 3 year old…and we have spent every minute after that trying our best to give him a secure, safe and steady loving Home.. We are by no means poor or destitute as my Husband works everyday and I receive SS. BUT any large expenses added into the mix, I just don’t think we can manage. Do you know if LEGOLAND has any discounted offers going on so that we can make a little boys Dream come true? Hopefully, he will stop driving me nutso about wanting to go there?? Thank you for any ideas at all!!
