How The Grinch Stole Christmas on Broadway not only stole Christmas, but the hearts of the entire audience!
Dr Seuss fans all over the world will be delighted to see the hit How The Grinch Stole Christmas On Broadway! The show follows the storyline of the classic book from Dr. Seuss himself. The show is a family friendly show and runs approximately 90 minutes and does not have an intermission.
The story is told from the perspective of Max the dog, who is now much older and is ready to move on with his life. Max looks back at the classic story of how the Grinch stole Christmas from the Whos in Whoville, the struggles of living with the Grinch, and just how the town did not lose their Christmas spirit even after they lost all that they had!
The set for the tour was very colorful, bright and full of detail! The costuming of the actors were phenomenal, and the music brought the Christmas spirit alive to myself as well as the entire audience at the Dr. Phillips Center!
The star of the show for me was Rachel Katzke, who played Cindy Lou Who. Rachel, who is in the 4th grade melted my heart with her voice, acting and spirit! I will be doing a featured article on Rachel soon on how she is balancing school, a national tour and her personal life!
Overall, the production is a must see for families and fans of Dr. Seuss! The show was high energy from the first chord of the orchestra until the final bow of the cast! I would like to thank the Dr. Phillips Center for having me out for the show as well as the cast especially Rachel and her family for sponsoring the giveaway!
