The temperature outside is falling and the kids are starting to get cooped up here in Minnesota! As a Florida native, I look for any chance I can get to warm up and get near an aquarium! Luckily for myself (and my family) Sea Life at the Mall of America is right down the road from our house!
Sea Life at the Mall of America is Minnesota’s largest aquarium, boasting 1.3 MILLION GALLONS of underwater fun and excitement! The aquarium, which is located on 2 different levels of the Mall of America showcases 11 different exhibits, thousands of underwater creatures such as sharks, rescued sea turtles, and fish as well as a 300-foot underwater tunnel with some breathtaking photo spots!

My girls love the touch tank where you can see (and feel) some cool sea creatures. This area allows children (and kids at heart like myself) to touch starfish, sticky sea anemones, and more in an interactive yet educational area! We also enjoy Stingray Bay where you can purchase food to hand-feed a stingray!
Sea Life at the Mall of America is great year-round as it is located inside and is climate controlled! It doesn’t matter if it’s raining or is 40 below zero, Sea Life is there to keep your family comfortable with some unforgettable experiences for everyone to enjoy!

Tickets start at 23.00 a person and additions can be added such as digital photos and a behind-the-scenes tour (which we really want to do next time we are there)! For the sea lovers like us, Sea Life at the Mall of America even offers different Annual Passes for year-round fun and adventure! The annual passes include:
- Anytime Admission
- 40% off friends and family admission when they visit with you
- 10% off gifts in the gift shop
- Special Events and offers!
My family and I really want to purchase an annual pass to be able to enjoy the fun year-round! Nothing calms me down more than watching fish and the girls love interacting with creatures they see when we are on a cruise ship or visiting friends at the beach! Sea Life at the Mall of America is honestly the perfect place for us to enjoy an afternoon of family fun without breaking the bank!
