Great Music Sets the Tone at Old Town Kissimmee
Central Florida locals and visitors who love the nostalgic feeling of the 1950’s and 1960’s flock in huge numbers to Old Town Kissimmee. Almost every week they line the sidewalks to check out the Saturday Nite Cruise and watch the parade of street rods and hot rods from pre-1975 go by. Beyond the car show – Old Town has SO much to offer for all ages – including night life, thrilling attractions, a unique collection of shops, dining options and other amusements.
I must say, however, as much as I enjoy a good Saturday Nite Cruise at Old Town, the real reason I go is for the music. There is something about it that really sets the tone for this cruise down memory lane at Old Town, even for those of us who are too young to remember what the 1950’s and 1960’s were really like!
One of my favorite local singers and recording artists in town in particular, is Peter Alden. Pete performs at Old Town with The Corvairs from 7pm to 11pm on June 21st, July 19th and August 16th 2014 – and you will not want to miss these shows!
Mark your calender and be sure to meet us at the main stage. Old Town is located at 5770 W. Irlo Bronso Memorial Hwy (also known as 192) in Kissimmee Florida. We will be posting a full review, more photos and video for you right here on OrlandoFunandFood.com so stay tuned!
