Low on funds for an upcoming trip to Walt Disney World? Try Resort Hopping!
Welcome to my first installment of Free Fridays! I have come to realize through talking to friends that a lot of you are looking for free things to do while on a magical vacation to Orlando! Each week I will showcase a FREE guide to how to save some money and what to do if your funds are low! With that being said, let’s look at resort hopping here at Walt Disney World.
Let’s clear the air first. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE STAYING AT WALT DISNEY WORLD TO EXPERIENCE THE RESORTS!
Resort Hopping is one of my favorite things to do when I don’t have much going on. The resorts at Walt Disney World are very unique and have a certain flair that will keep the kids and the kids at heart happy for hours. There are a ton to do at these resorts that are free regardless if you are staying there or not!
Each resort has some staple things to do if you are visiting them. If you are out by the Animal Kingdom Lodge you can sit on the back patio and watch some of the animals roam and eat. If you are by the campground check out the stables and see where the horses and animals are taken care of. You can even enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the Wilderness Lodge in front of the fire.
This also changes for me based on the seasons. This is the time of the year where the pumpkins go away and Christmas trees are put up. This by far is my favorite times to resort hop and see how the resorts are decorated for the holiday season! Some of my favorite resorts are the Grand Floridian, Yacht and Beach Club, Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge! Each resort is themed to be like the resort and can really help break up your trip!
Lastly, I wanted to plug my next meet up! On December 5th, we will be meeting at the Grand Floridian to do a resort hop to check out the amazing decorations!
