WWE Raw at the Amalie Arena sets the road to Wrestlemania in Orlando!
The first Monday Night Raw of 2017 heated up the Amalie Arena last night with the return of Goldberg and more! I had the chance to attend WWE Raw and I wanted to share what happened and some exclusive photos from the explosive episode.
With just a few weeks left until the Royal Rumble, tensions were high for the WWE Superstars. The winner of the rumble will headline Wrestlemania 33 here in Orlando to face the champion for the title. We know that Brock Lesnar and Goldberg have already been named the first two entrances into the rumble but found out that Chris Jericho is the third entrance!
Some of the highlights of the first WWE Raw in 2017 included:
Seth Rollins won against Kevin Owens via DQ
Braun Strowman won against Sami Zayn in a Last Man Standing Match
Xavier Woods defeated Titus O’Neil
Roman Reigns defeated Chris Jericho
Bayley defeated Nia Jax to become the number 1 contender
Finally, we saw the return of Goldberg who stated that he was heading to the Royal Rumble to become the number one contender and would make sure that he not only won the rumble, but would also take home the title from whoever the champ was at Wrestlemania! The end of Raw saw Strowman, Roman Reigns and Goldberg in a staredown.
One thing is for certain, the road to Wrestlemania is starting to heat up. The WWE is preparing for some huge matches to be coming to Orlando when Wrestlemania 33 comes to Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida in April 2017!
