Plantation on Crystal River combines amazing food, accommodations, and luxury!

On a recent trip to Crystal River, I had the opportunity to check out the Plantation on Crystal River. This luxury resort has everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing vacation! I had a great time checking out everything this amazing resort has to offer and I wanted to pass along my experiences with you.

First off, swimming with the Manatees is what brought me to Crystal River. The Plantation on Crystal River-based on reviews was my number one pick of places to stay for this experience. Located directly beside the resort is the Plantation Adventure Center which was my top choice to take us out to swim with the manatees! The rooms at the Plantation on Crystal River are spacious and very comfortable. I love rooms that you really feel at home in, and this resort had that vibe for me! My view from the room was amazing and looked out on the waterways behind the resort. I had the chance to see a ton of water birds and even a manatee swimming in the water!

The resort also has a ton of activities for you to enjoy! Some of the best features are the outdoor pool and spa, tiki bar, gaming area and of course the spa! I enjoyed a 50-minute massage at the spa and felt like a brand new man when I was done!

Lastly, I wanted to comment on some of the amazing food options at the resort. West 82 Bar and Grill is their top food spot and I had a chance to eat breakfast and dinner here. Breakfast gives you two options, buffet or order from the menu. I chose to order from the menu for breakfast and went with the ham steak. As you can see, the ham steak was one of the biggest (and best) that I have ever had! The portion size was amazing and the food was full of flavor!

For dinner, I went with a surf and turf since I was on the water! I started with some she-crab soup and baked crab for the appetizer. For my main course, I had a cowboy ribeye with grilled onions and some molten lava cake for dessert! The food at the Plantation on Crystal River was phenomenal and the icing on the cake to an amazing resort!
