Disney’s Marketplace Co-Op is coming to Downtown Disney! It will be located in the space that was formerly Team Mickey. I don’t know about you but I’m pretty excited about this new store. According to the information released so far, it looks like there will be a lot of new merchandise that we haven’t seen available before! Ceramic dole whips, orange bird themed pillows, & personalized Disney phone cases are just a few of the items you will find at the Marketplace Co-Op. There will be 6 different boutiques:
Centerpiece – This boutique will house Disney themed home goods, furnishings, & textiles such as Adventureland inspired glassware & salt/pepper shakers fashioned after the teacup ride vehicles from the Mad Tea Party.
Beautifully Disney – Here women will find make-up, fragrance, & beauty accessories. Many collections are specifically themed after Disney characters, such as an eye shadow palette of Minnie colors or a nail polish collection inspired by those villains we love to hate. There are also tools, implements, & bags to store it all.
Trophy room – The men & boys will enjoy this vintage sports apparel & collectible store. Not only will you find Disney inspired apparel & merchandise, there will also be a collection for popular teams in baseball & football, both professional & collegiate. In addition to apparel, you will also find pilsner glasses, coffee mugs, pennants, & even some collectible baseballs.
Cherry Tree Lane – This store will serve the needs of the sophisticated woman with accessories such as scarves, shoes, bags, & jewelry. I am interested to learn more details & see examples of some products soon.
D-Tech on Demand – A new home for personalized electronic accessories. We got a preview of how the iphone cases could be personalized during the Christmas season when this was offered from the Disney Truck Shop. At the Marketplace Co-Op, you will be able to customize iphone cases choosing from a certain number of designs then add options such as colors & names. Other new, exciting products will be available as well.
Zoey & Pickles – This store is designed for all the fashionable girls. Not many details have been announced about this store yet. Hopefully, we will have more information to share with you soon!
Marketplace Co-Op is scheduled to open in the next month or so. Certain items will also be available for purchase at Disney Parks online store sometime in the future. I, personally, am looking forward to Centerpiece as well as Cherry Tree Lane. I love Disney cups & mugs as well as Mickey jewelry! I look forward to a larger variety than what we see in the parks.
