Disney has just announced the details of the 2017 Free Dining promotion, and it features a pretty significant change for those booking a moderate resort!
With this year’s promotion, you can receive a free dining plan when you book a non-discounted 5-night/6-day Magic Your Way room and ticket package with a Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus Option. Deluxe villas and resorts get you a free Disney Dining Plan, while moderate and value resorts get you a Quick Service Dining Plan. In past years, guests booking moderate resorts have received the Disney Dining Plan, but this year, they would only receive the Quick Service Dining Plan.

Guests booking a Disney Deluxe Villa Resort will receive a FREE Disney Dining Plan, which provides 1 table service credit, 1 quick service credit, and 2 snack credits per person for every night of your stay (and a resort refillable mug per person). Valid for arrivals most nights 8/21-9/30, 11/14-11/20, 11/25-11/27, 12/8-12/23/17 for the following resorts:
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Disney’s Beach Club Resort
- Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
Disney Moderate Resorts
Guests booking a Disney Deluxe Villa Resort will receive a FREE Quick Service Dining Plan, which provides 2 quick service credits and 2 snack credits per person for every night of your stay (and a resort refillable mug per person). Valid for arrivals most nights 8/21-9/30, 11/14-11/20, 11/25-11/27, 12/8-12/23/17 for the following resorts:
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
- Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside (valid only for arrivals from 8/21 to 9/30)
- The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
Disney Value Resorts
Guests booking a Disney Deluxe Villa Resort will receive a FREE Quick Service Dining Plan, which provides 2 quick service credits and 2 snack credits per person for every night of your stay (and a resort refillable mug per person). The free dining promotion ends on July 7, 2017, but keep in mind, there are a limited number of rooms available for the promotion. Popular room categories and resorts will book up quickly!
