On Saturday, February 28th, the Junior League of Greater Orlando invites you and your readers to raise a glass to end childhood hunger during its annual spring soiree, Corks for a Cause, at Quantum Leap Winery.
From 7:30-11:00 p.m., you can sip, savor and support among the entertainment of live music, food, wine and NEW to this year’s event lineup – a live artist exhibit with two painters whose work will be auctioned off at the end of the night.
Surrounded by oak barrels and twinkling lights, guests can mingle with friends and meet new acquaintances while enjoying cocktails from Winter Park Distilling Co., craft beers from Cigar City Brewing and wines from Orlando’s first winery, and Florida’s only sustainable winery, Quantum Leap.
Themed auction baskets filled with local gift cards, products and tickets to art and sporting events will be up for grabs, along with a chance to win raffle items including a wine tasting for 20 at Total Wine + a mini fridge filled with premium wines. (You do not have be present at the event to win and tickets can be purchased online.)
For those who are unavailable to attend, the Junior League of Greater Orlando invites you to join us in supporting the cause by purchasing a purchase a “Virtual Cork” for $10. All proceeds benefit Junior League of Greater Orlando’s core community programs, focused on childhood health, hunger and poverty.
