Chuy’s Winter Park Review

Chuy’s Winter Park is bringing Tex-Mex at it’s best to Orlando!

Chuy’s, a traditional Tex-Mex restaurant from Texas has made its way to Orlando with 5 different locations. Last week, Chuy’s opened its newest location in the heart of Winter Park. I had the chance to go check out the restaurant and wanted to pass along my review!

If you have never had Chuy’s Tex-Mex then you are missing out for sure. This restaurant does good food right and makes everything from scratch daily. They even make their own tortillas daily fresh by hand in the dining room for everyone to see!

Chuy’s also has an amazing bar area with Happy Hour from 4-7 Monday thru Friday. Each bar has a car trunk built into it that transforms into a free nacho bar during happy hour! That’s right, go grab a drink and have some free nachos!

While at Chuy’s, we started out our meal with the appetizer plate which has Chile con queso, nachos, quesadillas, chicken flautas and guacamole. The appetizer plate is big enough for 3-4 people to share and has some of the best apps that the restaurant has to offer. I was a huge fan of the quesadillas and were made fresh!

For my entrée, I went with the steak and chicken fajitas. These fajitas are killer and have a ton of flavor. The meat in these fajitas are marinated for 24 hours in Shiner Bock beer, serrano peppers, lime juice and a secret blend of spices. The meat is cooked with peppers and onions and contains a ton of flavor!

If you have room for dessert then make sure you try some of their amazing desserts. I went with the Tres Leches cake which was full of flavor and extremely moist.
