Busch Gardens Tampa has welcomed several new babies in the past couple of months. A Southern Tamandua, or lesser anteater, was born on April 13th of this year. Both mother and pup remain behind the scenes with the animal care team. Also behind the scenes are the three reticulated giraffes which were born in March to three giraffe mothers. The two females stood 5′ 6″ at birth while the male stood 6′ at birth. You will be able to see the giraffes on the Serengeti Plains in the coming weeks!
