Ghost and animals join forces for the Boo At The Zoo event at the Brevard Zoo!
As summer comes to a close and autumn creeps in, the friendly ghouls and goblins at Brevard Zoo are fastidiously preparing for Boo at the Zoo, the Space Coast’s premier family Halloween event.
Tickets are now on sale on the Zoo’s website (www.brevardzoo.org). Admission for adults and children is $8 on October 9 & 11, $10 on October 10, $12 on October 16, 18, 23 & 25 and $14 on October 17 & 24. Admission for members is $6 on October 9, 11, 16 and 18. Boo at the Zoo runs from 5:30-9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 5:30-8 p.m. on Sundays.
“Buying tickets ahead of time means you won’t have to wait in a long line prior to the event,” said Andrea Hill, the Zoo’s marketing and communications director. “Saturdays are generally the busiest, so we encourage families to come on Friday or Sunday for smaller crowds.”
Hill added that this year’s activities will feature a mix of returning favorites and brand-new experiences.
“We’ll have the Boo Choo Train, a DJ, crafts, live entertainment, costume contests and, of course, lots of trick-or-treating. New this year are activities for toddlers and a haunted house for preteens. Boo at the Zoo is all-inclusive.”
Boo at the Zoo is presented by Health First Health Plans. Candy is generously sponsored by PNC Bank, the Avenue Viera and Renco Electronics.
