With the opening date for Seven Dwarfs fast approaching, guests to the Magic Kingdom can expect several attraction and areas of the park to be closed off for media events.
Walt Disney World sent out an alert to cast members with disruptions to normal operations from May 1-2, as select media will be visiting the Magic Kingdom park for a Seven Dwarfs Mine Train party and dedication ceremonies.
May 1: Party
The following areas of New Fantasyland will be closing at 5:30 pm:
-Ariel’s Grotto
-Bonjour! Village Gifts
-Gaston’s Tavern
-The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
-Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid
May 2: Dedication
-Delayed opening of Storybook Circus and Tomorrowland Speedway (11 am) and Monster’s Inc. Laugh Floor (1 pm)
