Taste of the Nation Orlando 2015 brings together business for greater good of feeding children!
Taste of the Nation Orlando 2015 has come and gone. In case you don’t know what Taste of the Nation Orlando is, you can check out my article here. This year, the event showcased food and drinks from in and around Orlando, local talent, a silent auction, a chance to win 199 bottles of wine and so much more!
Taste of the Nation is one of my favorite events of the year for multiple reasons! First off, it showcases some of the best and most talented chefs that Orlando has to offer. Every chef brings their love for cooking and own style to the table to create unique dishes for this event. This is also evident by looking at the numbers of chefs who participate in Taste of the Nation Orlando each and every year.
The second reason I love this event is the chance to network. This event brings out some of the best people in Orlando. I have seen local celebrities, Food Network stars, business owners, chefs and friends who all attend for two reasons: food and giving back!
The main reason I love Taste of the Nation Orlando is the fact that it is all to give back. The proceeds for this event go to the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida and to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Both of these organizations benefit greatly from this event by placing food in homes of needy families in Central Florida as well as helping homeless individuals including over 200 plus kids each and every day!
Lastly, as you can see from the photos, this event is a ton of fun! This year there were aerial acrobats, a Japanese sugar artist, a live DJ, and all the amazing food and drinks you could ever want. If you leave this event hungry, then you obviously did something wrong!
I know that I cannot wait for Taste of the Nation 2016 next year and hope we will be back as social media ambassadors again next year!
