OFF On The Go | Travel Tips, Reviews, and Insider Deals

For more than 20 years, Jason Mayhew, founder of OFF On The Go, has built a career as a travel journalist, storyteller, and media personality known for blending wit, honesty, cultural insight, and a little bourbon-fueled swagger. His mission is simple: help people break free from stress, stop overthinking, and confidently say yes to travel. Jason believes the best experiences come from getting out of your comfort zone and embracing the adventure. Just Go.

What sets Jason apart is that he does more than list destinations. He lives them. Through hands-on travel experiences, insider access, and a sharp sense of humor, he takes readers beyond the tourist traps and into the heart of each place. In addition to his work as a journalist, Jason is a certified travel advisor, allowing him to turn real-world experience into personalized trip planning, exclusive perks, and expert guidance. He also runs J Mayhew Marketing, a digital marketing agency focused on SEO, branding, and media growth, giving OFF On The Go a strategic edge in visibility and storytelling. His career includes coverage of major entertainment events, hosted international media trips, celebrity encounters, and national features, including appearances on FOX News. Every story on OFF On The Go is shaped by real experience, not recycled travel advice.
